OXFORD PRIDE

Oxford Pride’s 10-day festival starts on 8th June with events including art exhibitions, panel talks, karaoke, a dog show, quizzes and a history walk. It was initially planned that the tenth Oxford Pride would take place on Paradise Street where it all began.  Alas, due to the necessary regulatory restrictions and conditions placed on Pride by the City Council it is not possible this year.  We will be returning to Oxpens field for our main event on 16th June. This will be preceded by a parade from noon along Cornmarket, through town, to the field where Pride will be opened by the Mayor of Oxford. The event will include a speech from human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell and a full programme of live entertainment.  There will be a wide selection of food, information stalls and a bar.
