Alphabeat

It’s been a while now since the UK was blessed with the first Alphabeat album back in 2008  but a smattering of  singles has kept this Danish poptet firmly ensconced in the heart of their many fans.  This month sees the release of their eagerly anticipated new album The Beat Is… the result is… it has been worth the wait. The album has its eyes dead set on the horizon ahead and is full of great pop songs built of the band’s love of affective retro-pop styles. It’s good to see them back and in such great form… a regular on my in car sound-system.
