Who Googles gay porn the most?
As African countries lead the way on criminalising being gay, which country Googles the most gay porn?
Kenya is the country that Googles the most gay porn. Although other African countries have passed laws banning gay rights and gay relationships at the moment Kenya isn’t one of them. However, according to Wikipedia, the 2007 Pew Global Attitudes Project, 96 percent of Kenyan residents believe that homosexuality is a way of life that society should not accept, which was the fifth-highest rate of non-acceptance in the 45 countries surveyed.
The non-governmental Kenya Human Rights Commission published in 2011 the results of a survey it conducted in the LGBTI communities across the country. Among those who came out or were outed to their family members, 89 percent reported that they were disowned. Employees were reported to have been terminated or subjected to hostility, ridicule, humiliation, and discrimination when their sexual orientation or gender identity became known in the workplace.
With the growth of highly funded (many by American fundamentalists seeing Africa as an easy target) religious groups in various countries claiming the ‘moral’ high ground, we can perhaps draw from this latest piece of research that the citizens of these countries have a different view of homosexuality than their easily corrupted leaders.
