AKT NOW

The Albert Kennedy Trust supports LGBT young people (16-25) who are homeless or living in a hostile environment. Many of our young people have been rejected by their parents or bullied at school just for being brave enough to come out and be themselves. We provide Safe Housing, Mentoring, Training and Advice & Guidance.

Sir Ian McKellen, Paul O’Grady, Sue Perkins, Samantha Fox and Andrew Hayden Smith appear in an emotion-jerking and moving advertising campaign portraying where they all could’ve been now had their lives been different.

The advert is part of a launch campaign called ‘AKT Now’ created by TBWA\London for the Albert Kennedy Trust, a charity set up specifically to help and support disadvantaged lesbian, gay, bisexual and Transgender individuals, up to the age of 25, who have faced homophobic bullying, abuse and homelessness. ‘AKT NOW’ encourages you to donate £15, give 15 hours of your time or even better donate £15 on a monthly basis, all of which is driven through the website:
