Alex Metric has been tipped for big things. Named ‘Remixer of 2007’ by XFM’s Eddy Temple Morris, Metric has big shoes to fill. Luckily, his energy and vivacity spills out of his work in waves, and that really makes ‘In Your Machine’ the album it is. He is to 2008 what Calvin Harris was to 2007 and Richard X was to 2003 (and Liberty X!). For that, he’s definitely worth a listen.
