Gay Star To Become A Granddad

Gay TV presenter Paul O’Grady is set to get a special present this festive season when he becomes a granddad.

The host of Channel 4’s Paul O’Grady Show and man behind Lily Savage announced last night that his daughter Sharyn Moseley is due to give birth on Christmas day.

O’Grady, who is openly gay, became a father when he was 18 after a fling with an older woman, but has kept her out of the public eye, while remaining close to his offspring.

He told The Sun: “I kept her quiet. If you are in a gay environment and say you have a daughter, they look at you like you are a leper.” 

“I can’t wait to become a grandpa. It’s the best Christmas present I could hope for.” 

The star attended Matt Lucas’ civil ceremony on Sunday dressed as Captain Hook.
