With the musical audacity of early Elton John, the acerbic humour of Chelsea Handler and the narrative grit of Gus Van Sant, American recording artist Ezra Axelrod will launch his debut album, Songs from the American Motel, with a month-long West End residency at Leicester Square Theatre.

In Songs from the American Motel, Ezra will bring his dynamic album to l songs, gay, erotic West End, ife with a live show that fuses his unique brand of rock with theatre and stand-up comedy. Based on true events, Songs from the American Motel will take audiences on a journey through the 25-year-old artist’s outrageous life, from his childhood in the backwoods of the Wild West, through a picaresque adolescence in Latin America, to his new home in London’s Soho.

Featuring lust, love, heartbreak, conflict, adventure and reconciliation, Songs from the American Motel leaves no stone unturned, inviting audiences to “check in” to an intimate space where anything goes, jam-packed with catchy tunes, side-splitting anecdotes, and touching  sincerity.
